Louis is a veteran of the optical industry beginning his career as an apprentice optician back in 1984 in Melbourne, Australia. Since then he has managed multi-store optometry/retail practices, been involved in optician education and training at university level, run his own optical businesses and has worked for many years in the luxury wholesale market in the USA.

Over the last few years Louis has become well known for starting the Luxury Eyewear Forum website and Facebook group. This pioneering venture provides a meeting place for professionals involved in this unique sector of the eyewear market as well as advertising, careers, press and the latest news. 

Louis is well known for his social media activities over many years. His expertise in creating energizing and successful strategies such as the “Support Independent Eyewear” campaign are a testament to his skills in this area. He is also an experienced marketer having been a Marketing Manager for a large optometry company and, more recently, managing the event marketing for the LOFT Eyewear Shows in New York and Las Vegas. He also manages digital media for Sospiri Eyewear and the L’Unique Optique portfolio of brands. including Booth & Bruce England and Traction Productions. Louis also works as a consultant to the industry in the areas of sales, training and distribution management.

A father of two, Louis is a keen follower of his children's various sporting activities, particularly swimming and soccer. As an avid photographer he can often be seen at events, camera in hand, poised to take a great action shot. His other passions include playing music, art, design, vintage motorcycles and and his beloved Australian Football team, the Western Bulldogs. 



Raised in South Louisiana, Heather has a long history in customer service in retail, banking and non profit organizations. She has a degree in Finance and Accounting and is currently studying to be a CPA.

Heather's role at Spexaddict includes logistics, customer service, email campaigns, accounts and distribution. She manages our LYF Magazine subscriptions and delivery. Her attention to detail and accounting skills are perfectly suited to her role as our Accounts Manager. 

Heather is also an adept social media marketer having taken over some non-optical Spexaddict projects in the local community. She also manages our Email Campaign services which we added to our portfolio in 2016. 

When Heather is not behind a computer screen you will find her out and about, shuffling kids from sporting events and after school activities or spending time working on her other favorite pastime, her garden. She loves to teach the children about growing plants, flowers and organic vegetables as well as enjoying the outdoors as opposed to them being glued to digital technology.
